Nursing Home and Assisted Living Facilities Healthcare Recruiter Part-Time - Three Days per Week Become an essential part of our commitment to exceptional care.
Summary:
The Recruiter is responsible for full life-cycle recruiting; recruit, screen, and recommend placement of staff by using creative sourcing methods (internal and external). Develops and executes recruiting strategies and provides guidance to hiring managers on the recruiting process and market conditions. Required Knowledge, Skills, and
Abilities:
Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor s degree or equivalent work experience required.
  • Two or more years of recruiting experience, managing the entire lifecycle (sourcing, interviewing, offer process) as well as data analysis, benchmarking, and reporting.
  • Ability to develop and execute sourcing strategies for the recruitment of experienced professionals at all levels.
  • Strong interpersonal skills; ability to work in teams.
  • Must be able to meet tight deadlines and must be flexible to changing workflow and demands.
  • Proven ability in multitasking various projects.
  • Strong communication and writing skills.
  • Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills.
  • May assist department supervisors in developing long-range job projections.
  • Caring, compassionate, creative, and energetic personality and must enjoy working with the senior population. Essential
    Functions:
  • Partners with hiring manager to determine staffing needs.
  • Screen and route resumes, schedule interviews, interview candidates (by phone or in person), administer appropriate assessments, reference/background checking, make recommendations for hire (or not hire) and deliver employment offers for both exempt and non-exempt position openings within an assigned territory.
  • Serves as an expert for recruiting candidates within an assigned territory.
  • Uses traditional and non-traditional resources to identify and attract quality candidates such as career fairs, on-line job fairs, community network events, etc.
  • Develops advertising programs (internal and external) in order to ensure high visibility with potential candidates.
  • Design sourcing strategies. Identify the most efficient and cost-effective recruiting methods (e.g., internet, newspaper ads, employment agencies, college fairs)
  • Manages internal transfer process including screening, coordination of interview with hiring manager, transfer offer letter, etc.
  • Follows up with candidates and hiring managers to ensure updated information on the interview process status.
  • Develops and maintain an excellent relationship with internal and external clients to ensure achievement of staffing goals.
  • Communicates important employment information during delivery of employment offers (i.e. benefits, compensation, non-competition agreements, etc.).
  • Maintains necessary files covering applications, interviews, and testing procedures.
  • Works with hiring managers to ensure compliance with all federal/state laws and regulations including Affirmative Action Plan compliance.
  • Manages current candidate activity in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
  • Manages application/resume file and retention according to company policy.
  • Maintains memberships and affiliations with trade/professional organizations related to industry. Related

  • Maintains a current knowledge of federal, state and other regulations applicable to job.
