Competitive pay based on experience + commission & bonus opportunities Join a Growing Staffing Team Co-Staff is seeking a motivated and relationship-driven Recruiter / Staffing Specialist to help support our growing light industrial and skilled trades staffing operations. This role is ideal for someone with staffing, recruiting, manufacturing, warehouse, or production experience who understands the fast-paced nature of industrial hiring. We specialize in recruiting for positions such as welders, machinists, fabricators, maintenance technicians, warehouse associates, production leads, drafters/designers, forklift operators, CNC operators, and other manufacturing-related roles throughout Southern Wisconsin. Responsibilities Recruit, screen, interview, and place candidates in manufacturing, warehouse, and skilled trades positions Utilize job boards, resume databases, social media, referrals, and networking to source qualified candidates Conduct phone screens and in-person interviews to evaluate work history, skill level, attendance, and cultural fit Create and maintain accurate candidate profiles and notes within the Applicant Tracking System Match candidates with client job openings based on experience, skills, and availability Coordinate onboarding activities including applications, pre-employment screenings, orientations, and new hire paperwork Maintain regular communication with employees and client companies throughout assignments Assist with employee relations, attendance follow-up, and assignment check-ins Develop a working knowledge of manufacturing terminology, production environments, and skilled trades positions Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, applicants, and internal team members Assist with recruiting strategy development and hiring initiatives to attract quality talent Post and manage online job advertisements across multiple platforms Support office operations and additional duties as assigned Preferred Qualifications Previous recruiting, staffing, HR, or customer service experience preferred Understanding of positions such as MIG/TIG welders, machinists, CNC operators, maintenance technicians, fabrication, warehouse leads, and production roles is highly valued Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment Comfortable conducting interviews and evaluating candidate qualifications Proficient with computers, Microsoft Office, and learning new software systems Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Professional, dependable, and team-oriented attitude High School Diploma or GED required; additional education in HR, business, or related fields is a plus What We Offer Competitive hourly pay Performance and placement bonus opportunities Paid time off and holiday pay Opportunity for advancement and long-term career growth Supportive and team-focused work environment Hands-on training and continued development Ideal Backgrounds for This Role We are especially interested in candidates with experience in: Staffing and recruiting Manufacturing or warehouse operations Skilled trades environments Production supervision or lead roles HR or employee onboarding Industrial customer service or dispatching Apply Today If you are motivated, organized, and enjoy helping people find the right opportunities while supporting local manufacturing companies, we encourage you to apply today.Benefits:
