Job Description

Community Impact Programs is now hiring for the part-time Foster Care Recruitment and Training Specialist within the Resource Development (RD) program! JOB SUMMARY
Resource Development (RD) with Community Impact Programs is responsible for recruiting and retaining foster parents and childcare providers for the Kenosha County Division of Social Services. As the Recruitment & Training Specialist, you will use various media strategies and community outreach efforts to recruit and maintain foster homes. This position will also train and prepare foster parents to successfully foster children in their care. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE RECRUITMENT & TRAINING SPECIALIST
Implement recruitment plans, strategies, and methods. Place advertisements, press releases, and other media to promote foster care licensing. Promote foster care by participating in community events (i.e. booths and presentations). Facilitate the Nurturing Connections training to foster parents. Prepare, develop, and facilitate ongoing training to foster parents.
LOCATION
Office is located in Kenosha, WI. Some local travel may be required to attend trainings and community events. Flexibility for hybrid/remote scheduling.
SCHEDULE
Part-time 8-10 hours per week

PAY RATE
$19.00 per hour
REQUIREMENTS
Must have a completed Associate's Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Criminal Justice, or related; or equivalent of 60 completed college credits.
