full-time Administrative Director / Administrative Manager Arlington, VA | Full-Time A growing 30-person government contracting firm in Arlington, VA is seeking an Administrative Manager to serve as the operational backbone of the organization. This is a highly cross-functional role for a candidate who can act as the connective tissue across departments, ideally with a recruiting or talent acquisition background, and who is well-suited to variety and high-visibility project work. Key Responsibilities Lead new hire onboarding and serve as the primary point of contact for incoming employees Serve as liaison with external recruiting and staffing agencies on open requisitions Manage the firm's Recruiter profile and support candidate sourcing efforts Prepare and format resumes of key personnel to meet government proposal standards Manage the drafting, tracking, and collection of Letters of Intent (LOIs) for the proposal department Serve as a cross-departmental liaison to ensure alignment and clear communication Directly manage the Office Manager and oversee day-to-day office operations Lead ad hoc projects that support the firm's continued growth Qualifications 5+ years of progressive administrative, operations, or office management experience Recruiting, talent acquisition, or HR-adjacent experience strongly preferred Government contracting industry experience strongly preferred Strong written communication skills and experience preparing polished, professional documents High degree of discretion and professionalism; comfortable representing the firm with candidates, vendors, and staff at all levels Prior experience managing or mentoring direct reports This is an opportunity to take on a highly visible, impactful role at a firm in an active period of growth.
