Primary Responsibilities:
An Agent Recruiting Supervisor is responsible for leading and developing the Agent Relations recruiting team to achieve assigned sales, membership growth, and agent recruitment objectives. This role oversees the recruitment of independent agents and agencies new to JSA, while driving expansion opportunities with existing partners through the addition of carriers and product lines. The Supervisor provides strategic direction, coaching, performance management, and operational oversight to ensure recruiting goals are met while maintaining exceptional partner experiences and compliance standards.
What You Get To Do:
Lead, coach, and develop a team of Agent Relations Recruiters to achieve individual and departmental recruiting, sales, and membership growth goals. Establish recruiting strategies, performance metrics, and accountability standards that support company growth objectives. Monitor team performance through reporting, pipeline management, and regular performance reviews, providing feedback and coaching as needed. Oversee the recruitment of independent agents and agencies new to JSA and expansion opportunities with existing agents through additional carrier and product line appointments. Guide team members in conducting outreach campaigns, including cold calling, prospecting, and relationship-building activities to generate new partnerships. Maintain oversight of CRM processes, ensuring accurate and timely documentation of recruiting activities, pipeline status, and agent records. Partner with Sales, Operations, Compliance, Marketing, and Carrier Relations teams to improve recruiting effectiveness and support organizational initiatives. Analyze recruiting trends, agent engagement metrics, and market opportunities to identify areas for growth and process improvement. Develop and implement best practices, workflows, and training programs that improve recruiter productivity and agent acquisition results. Support department operations by assisting with service initiatives and resource allocation during peak business periods, including AEP and other high-volume enrollment seasons. Qualifications, Skills & Abilities:
Strong leadership, coaching, and employee development skills. Ability to build and maintain effective professional relationships with agents, agencies, carrier partners, and internal stakeholders. Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities. Ability to manage multiple priorities, projects, and deadlines while maintaining high-quality results. Excellent verbal, written, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills. Strong organizational and analytical skills with attention to detail. Ability to motivate teams and drive performance through accountability and positive leadership. Knowledge of recruiting, sales pipeline management, and relationship management best practices. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, CRM systems, and Salesforce preferred. Self-starter with the ability to work independently and make sound business decisions. Physical Job Requirements & Work Environment While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to remain in a stationary position for up to eight hours in an office environment. The employee occasionally is required to move to access people or workspaces. Involves frequent telephone contact with agents and employees. Interaction with others is constant and may be interruptive. The employee may occasionally lift files, paper, or office equipment weighing up to 35 pounds. Requires manual dexterity sufficient to operate a keyboard, calculator, telephone, copier, and other such office equipment as necessary. Vision must be correctable to 20/30 and hearing must be in the normal range for telephone contacts. It is necessary to view and type on computer screens for long periods and the ability to optimally communicate is required.
