100% On-Site About the Opportunity JMT Staffing is partnering with a growing real estate development and property management company in the Lowell, MA area to identify a Recruiting & HR Lead. This is a highly visible, strategic role focused on building the company's recruiting infrastructure and ensuring critical positions are consistently filled as the organization continues its growth. The company currently manages approximately 1,000 residential units and has ambitious plans to expand its portfolio significantly over the next 5-10 years. As a result, talent acquisition will play a critical role in achieving those goals. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in recruiting, enjoys building talent pipelines from the ground up, and wants the opportunity to shape the future of an organization's people strategy. Key Responsibilities Talent Acquisition & Pipeline Development Develop and maintain a proactive recruiting strategy for key positions across the organization Build talent pipelines for Property Managers, Leasing Agents, Maintenance Technicians, Office Support staff, and future leadership positions Source, recruit, screen, and manage candidates through the hiring process Create and maintain hiring scorecards, interview processes, and candidate evaluation criteria Partner with leadership to forecast hiring needs and workforce planning initiatives Track recruiting metrics including time-to-fill, source effectiveness, and retention HR & Employee Experience Assist with onboarding and employee integration processes Help develop and maintain HR policies, procedures, and best practices Support employee relations and performance management initiatives Ensure a positive and professional candidate and employee experience Serve as a trusted resource to leadership on people-related matters Qualifications 5+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience required Experience building talent pipelines and recruiting strategies from the ground up Proven success recruiting for multiple types of positions, including operations, administrative, customer-facing, and skilled trade roles Strong interviewing, assessment, and candidate closing skills Experience working directly with executive leadership and hiring managers HR experience is a plus, but strong recruiting expertise is the top priority Excellent communication, organization, and relationship-building skills Ability to work independently and drive results in a stand-alone role What We're Looking For A recruiter first, HR professional second Someone who enjoys finding talent before it's needed rather than reacting to openings A process-oriented individual who can build systems and improve them over time A self-starter comfortable creating structure, tracking metrics, and owning outcomes A professional who can grow with the organization and potentially build a small recruiting/HR team in the future Why Consider This Opportunity?
