Full-Time About the Opportunity We are seeking a motivated, people-focused Recruiting Manager to lead our Battle Creek staffing office. This is a great opportunity for someone with staffing, recruiting, or employment agency experience who enjoys building client relationships, leading a team, and helping people find meaningful work. In this role, you will oversee daily branch operations, support and develop staffing specialists, manage recruiting activity, and ensure client needs are met with qualified, reliable candidates. The ideal person is a strong communicator, organized, goal-driven, and comfortable working in a fast-paced staffing environment. What You'll Do As the Staffing Branch Manager / Recruiting Manager, you will be responsible for leading branch performance, supporting recruitment efforts, and maintaining strong client and employee relationships.Key responsibilities include:
Lead, train, support, and develop staffing team members Recruit, screen, and help place qualified candidates into open positions Build and maintain strong relationships with clients Ensure open job orders are filled with the best available candidates Monitor branch goals, fill rates, time-to-fill, and team performance Provide coaching and feedback to improve recruiting results Participate in job fairs, community events, and local recruiting efforts Maintain accurate records in the staffing system Promote a positive, professional, and team-oriented branch culture Communicate regularly with leadership regarding branch activity and results Delegate tasks and client accounts as needed to ensure branch success Support employee morale and help create a welcoming environment for candidates and associates What We're Looking For We are looking for someone who understands the staffing industry and is ready to take ownership of branch success.Qualified candidates should have:
At least 2 years of staffing, recruiting, or related hiring experience Previous leadership, supervisory, or team lead experience preferred Knowledge of staffing, recruiting, hiring, or workforce placement practices Strong customer service and client relationship skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills Ability to set goals, track progress, and hold self and team accountable Confidence delegating tasks and supporting team development Proficiency with Microsoft Office Experience with staffing software or applicant tracking systems preferred Willingness to work outside normal business hours as needed A bachelor's degree in business, human resources, or a related field is preferred but not required. Relevant staffing, recruiting, or management experience is highly valued. Why Join Us?
