80 Req #: 12076 This opportunity is for Internal Shore Medical Center Candidates Only. Position Summary The Supervisor, Recruiting & Onboarding leads full-cycle recruitment efforts for the hospital while overseeing front desk operations in the Human Resources department and managing the employee onboarding process. This role ensures Shore Medical Center attracts and hires qualified clinical and non-clinical talent, provides a professional first impression to visitors and candidates, and delivers a seamless onboarding experience that supports employee engagement and retention in a 24/7 healthcare environment. Core Job Duties and Responsibilities Ensures staff qualifications are consistent with job responsibilities; job descriptions reflect accurate performance expectations and requirements Follows Human Resources Policies for hiring, managing performance, and participation in workplace activities and services Provides employees and applicants with accurate and complete information about job requirements, benefits, hospital policies, etc. and refers questions to Department Leadership as necessary Oversee the onboarding process from offer acceptance through first day orientation. Coordinate pre-employment requirements (background checks, drug screening, licensure verification, employee health clearance). Partner with Employee Health, IT, Payroll, and department managers to ensure readiness for new hires Ensures HR Desk has appropriate staffing and provides front reception coverage as necessary Develops recruitment materials for distribution within the organization, at job fairs, and to the public Develops and places advertisements, in conjunction with outside agencies, to attract applicants
Qualifications:
3 years' experience in Recruiting for hospital setting 5 years' experience in Human Resources including new employee onboarding process Experience with applicant tracking systems; Oracle HCM experience preferred Strong attention to detail and interpersonal skills Additional information
