A Talent Acquisition Manager is in charge of hiring, developing recruitment strategies and retaining talent for businesses and organizations. They manage recruitment processes, identify hiring needs, and develop recruiting strategies that source and market employment opportunities.
Piru Group is a rapidly expanding, vertically integrated development and construction powerhouse based in Albuquerque, New Mexico. We do not operate like a standard corporate bureaucracy; we move fast, we win high-level contracts, and we execute complex projects. Because we manage everything in-house—from pulling permits and pouring concrete to structuring multi-million dollar federal RFPs—our hiring needs are aggressive, diverse, and relentless.
The Role:
We are seeking a highly proactive Hiring Manager who can aggressively source, vet, and close top-tier talent across the absolute extreme ends of the professional spectrum. You will be the central gatekeeper for our entire corporate ecosystem. We don't need a passive HR administrator who posts on job boards and waits for resumes to roll in; we need a talent scout. On Monday, you might be at a local trade school recruiting a gritty, reliable tile setter or journeyman plumber. On Tuesday, you will be headhunting a heavy-hitting Chief Financial Officer or a Director of Capital Markets for Piru Group. You must be able to speak the language of the job site just as fluently as the language of the boardroom.
Core Responsibilities:
Full-Spectrum Recruiting:
Manage the entire hiring lifecycle for every tier of the organization.
Diverse Placements:
You will hire C-suite executives, federal grant writers, modular installers, finish carpenters, site superintendents, and property managers, etc.
Aggressive Sourcing:
Execute outbound recruiting strategies by cold-calling competitors, attending job fairs, building relationships with trade school professors, and scraping the internet to find the exact right fit.
Ruthless Vetting:
Implement strict screening protocols to ensure only highly qualified, hungry, and competent candidates make it to the executive team. No "post and pray" mentalities allowed.
Multi-Entity Strategy:
Seamlessly pivot between the distinct cultures, compliance standards, and operational requirements of Piru Group, Builders Tech NM, EcoMod Ventures, and Build4Kidz.
Process Optimization:
Overhaul and streamline our onboarding pipelines, utilizing our internal tech stacks (Monday.com) to track candidate flow and execute weekly hiring objectives.
The Ideal Candidate:
You are a

Requirements:
2+ years of high-level recruiting, talent acquisition, or HR leadership experience. Direct experience hiring in construction, real estate development, or government contracting is highly preferred. Proven track record of successfully placing both blue-collar skilled trades and white-collar executive leadership.
