JOB PURPOSE
Under direction of the VP of Talent & Culture the Talent Acquisition Director leads and executes a comprehensive, association-wide recruitment strategy for the YMCA of Greater Tulsa. This role is responsible for attracting, sourcing, selecting, and onboarding mission-driven talent to support operational excellence across all branches and program areas. Essential Functions (not a complete list): Strategic Recruitment & Workforce Planning Develop and implement a proactive, data-informed recruitment strategy aligned with organizational goals. Partner with branch leadership to forecast workforce needs and build talent pipelines. Monitor hiring trends, time-to-fill metrics, turnover data, and workforce analytics to inform decision-making. Identifies and implements standardization and/or optimization opportunities such as new technologies and processes to drive efficiency. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment regulations. Full-Cycle Talent Acquisition Oversee and participate in full-cycle recruitment for leadership, full-time, and high-volume program roles. Create compelling job postings and recruitment campaigns that reflect YMCA values and culture. Manage applicant tracking and ensure consistent hiring processes across branches. Lead structured interview processes and train hiring managers in effective selection techniques. Employer Branding & Community Engagement Position the YMCA of Greater Tulsa as an employer of choice within the community. Build partnerships with colleges, workforce development agencies, and community organizations. Coordinate job fairs, hiring events, and seasonal hiring initiatives (e.g., after school, summer camp, aquatics). Onboarding & Candidate Experience Collaborate with branch leadership to ensure seamless onboarding experience. Maintain high standards for candidate communication and engagement. Evaluate and enhance onboarding processes to improve retention and engagement. Leadership & Collaboration Serve as a trusted advisor to hiring managers and branch executives. Train leaders on hiring best practices, behavioral interviewing, and compliance. Support HR initiatives that promote employee engagement and retention. Risk Management Adhere to all organizational policies and procedures regarding the prevention of abuse. Report any suspected abuse, neglect, or misconduct immediately to the appropriate supervisory staff. Attend mandatory training on abuse prevention, including recognizing signs of abuse, and reporting requirements. Assume all other responsibilities as deemed necessary or assigned.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Required Minimum Age of 18 years old. Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience). Minimum 5 years of progressive recruitment or talent acquisition experience. Experience managing high-volume and leadership-level recruitment. Experience with seasonal or multi-site hiring operations. Strong knowledge of employment law and hiring compliance standards. Experience with applicant tracking and HRIS platforms. Will travel within the Greater Tulsa Metro area between local YMCA branches, to and from recruitment fairs and community events. Demonstrated ability to build partnerships and influence stakeholders.
