Business Administration & Entrepreneurship, Culinary Arts, Hospitality Management, Health Sciences, and other related programs by helping students understand program pathways, career opportunities, admissions requirements, application steps, deadlines, and enrollment next steps. This position will provide management, and hands-on execution for strategy, tactics, metrics, CRM follow-up, event participation, and evaluation components that lead to achievable, measurable, and sustainable enrollment growth. This position serves as a recruitment and engagement liaison between marketing, events, outreach/recruitment, academic faculty, department chairs, school partners, employer partners, healthcare partners, and prospective students. The position will support the College's broader enrollment goals by helping prospective students move from inquiry to application to registration-ready status and enrollment. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree from an accredited university. Three (3) years of experience in one or more of the following: marketing, communications, recruiting, admissions, sales, workforce development, healthcare recruitment, business development, employer relations, community engagement, or related experience pertinent to this position. Knowledge of student recruitment, outreach, admissions, and enrollment processes. Ability to develop and implement recruitment and engagement plans that support enrollment goals for assigned academic programs. Ability to explain academic pathways, career outcomes, prerequisites, program requirements, admissions steps, limited-admission requirements, deadlines, and student support services. Ability to communicate effectively with prospective students, families, school partners, employers, healthcare partners, community organizations, faculty, and staff. Ability to coordinate multiple projects, events, campaigns, and deadlines at the same time. Ability to use CRM systems, student data, and communication tools to track prospective students, document engagement, manage follow-up, and monitor progress through the enrollment funnel. Ability to support recruitment events, information sessions, school visits, campus tours, employer/partner events, and community outreach activities. Knowledge of digital communication methods including email, text messaging, phone outreach, web content, social media, and event promotion. Ability to write clear, accurate, student-centered recruitment and program information. Ability to use data to evaluate recruitment activity, identify enrollment barriers, and recommend improvements. Knowledge of, or ability to learn, Business Administration & Entrepreneurship, Culinary Arts, Hospitality Management, and Health Sciences departments, workforce programs, career-connected education, and community college pathways. Ability to work independently, follow through on assignments, and maintain effective working relationships across departments and with external partners. Preferred Qualifications Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite. Experience creating or working within customer relationship management ( CRM ) databases. Experience with Element451 or similar CRM , marketing automation, event registration, or student communication platform. Experience with a Student Information System. Experience in special event management. Experience in planning and producing social media content on media platforms for a professional business, non-profit, college, or institution. Experience in marketing and promotions. Experience working with restaurants, hotels, hospitality employers, culinary programs, food service operations, healthcare employers, business organizations, chambers of commerce, workforce boards, or community partners. Knowledge of academic, Continuing Education, Dual Enrollment, Business Administration & Entrepreneurship, Culinary Arts, Hospitality Management, Health Sciences, workforce, or limited-admission programs in a higher education setting. Job Duties Job Duty Assist Business Administration, Culinary Arts, Hospitality Management, and Health Sciences faculty in identifying prospective students for Del Mar College programs and maintain proactive, personalized communications with prospective students. Design and execute a comprehensive recruiting and engagement plan for prospective students interested in business, entrepreneurship, health sciences, and related programs. Serve as a knowledgeable and welcoming point of contact for prospective students, including high school students, adult learners, returning students, transfer students, career changers, continuing education participants, and dual enrollment students. Provide guidance to prospective students as they complete admissions checklist items, including applications, residency documentation, orientation, FAFSA / TASFA referrals, advising referrals, program information sessions, and registration readiness. Use the College's CRM and other college software to track prospective students, document interactions, monitor student progress through the enrollment funnel, assign follow-up tasks, and evaluate recruitment outcomes. Conduct timely, personalized outreach via email, text messaging, phone calls, events, and in-person engagement to guide students and answer questions. Help identify and remove enrollment barriers through proactive problem solving and cross functional teamwork. Support institutional priorities within the Division as directed by the supervisor, including priority programs, enrollment goals, workforce initiatives, events, and special projects. Plan, produce, coordinate, and support regular and timely content for social media, web presence, CRM campaigns, email, text messaging, and event promotion for assigned programs. Design and execute digital marketing and CRM engagement campaigns for program information sessions, open houses, lab tours, health sciences previews, business showcases, entrepreneurship events, career exploration events, employer panels, application deadlines, and registration campaigns. Coordinate and participate in recruitment activities including school visits, campus tours, workshops, onboarding events, employer partner events, healthcare partner events, community engagement events, and division-specific recruitment experiences. Translate complex program details into clear, student-friendly messaging about program pathways, prerequisites, admissions steps, limited-admission requirements, clinical or experiential expectations, career outcomes, transfer options, and timelines. Gather and coordinate student stories, faculty highlights, employer connections, alumni outcomes, program photos, videos, and other content that supports recruitment and enrollment goals. Design and manage recruitment-focused marketing campaigns using print, digital, social media, web, event registration, and CRM tools. Other duties as assigned.
