Job Description
Job Description The Recruiting Business Partner I plays a key role in supporting high-volume hiring across multiple business lines by managing the full recruitment lifecycle for entry-level to mid-level roles within a fulfillment network across the United States. This position recruits, interviews, checks references, makes offers, and conducts orientation for new employees, while also performing exit interviews and processing changes in employee status. The role follows established recruiting processes and guidelines, operates in a fast-paced, data-driven environment, and works under the guidance of an immediate supervisor and experienced recruiting business partners. Responsibilities Manage the end-to-end recruitment process for entry-level to mid-level roles within the fulfillment network across the United States. Source, screen, and interview candidates to assess qualifications, cultural fit, and alignment with business needs. Check candidate references and verify relevant information in accordance with established procedures. Prepare, extend, and follow up on employment offers in alignment with organizational guidelines and recruiting best practices. Conduct orientation for new employees to ensure a smooth onboarding experience. Perform exit interviews and accurately document feedback and outcomes. Process changes in employee status, including internal moves and promotions, in a timely and accurate manner. Partner closely with recruiting business partners and hiring teams to understand role requirements and hiring priorities. Handle internal hiring processes, including applications for internal promotions and transfers. Participate in weekly team meetings and bi-weekly meetings with the sourcing team to align on priorities and share updates. Collaborate with internal business partners and stakeholders through regular internal meetings to ensure efficient hiring workflows. Follow pre-established recruiting guidelines, workflows, and instructions to maintain consistency and compliance. Maintain accurate candidate records, documentation, and status updates throughout the recruitment lifecycle. Contribute to a collaborative team culture by engaging in chat groups, team activities, and knowledge sharing. Support high-volume recruitment efforts and maintain productivity in a fast-paced environment. Essential Skills 0-2 years of experience in recruiting, talent acquisition, or a related field. Knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures in recruiting and human resources. Experience with high-volume recruiting or administrative support in a talent acquisition environment. Ability to manage full-cycle recruiting activities, including sourcing, interviewing, reference checking, and offer management. Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple requisitions and priorities simultaneously. Comfort working with pre-established guidelines, instructions, and standard operating procedures. Effective communication skills for interacting with candidates, hiring managers, and recruiting business partners. Ability to work under immediate supervision and take direction from a supervisor or lead. Proficiency with basic office and communication tools to support remote and distributed team interactions. Bachelor's degree in a relevant field may be required, depending on organizational standards. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience as a recruiting coordinator or in a similar administrative talent acquisition role. Background in high-volume administrative recruiting environments. Exposure to recruiting business partner models or working closely with recruiting business partners. Experience hiring for multiple business lines or operational functions. Comfort working in a data-driven environment with metrics and performance indicators. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced setting and maintain a high level of productivity. Strong collaboration skills and a willingness to engage with peers and leadership across a widespread team. Interest in developing a recruiting career within a large, complex organization. Work Environment This role operates within a widespread recruiting team that supports 13 different business lines and focuses heavily on high-volume hiring for associates across a fulfillment network in the United States. The position is full-time, with a typical schedule of Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Pacific Time (40 hours per week), with some flexibility in travel time within those work hours. Overtime, weekend, and holiday work are not expected as part of the standard schedule. The Recruiter I works under immediate supervision and regularly interacts with a manager, recruiting business partners, and sourcing teams through weekly team meetings, bi-weekly sourcing meetings, and active chat groups. The environment is fast-paced and data-driven, with a strong emphasis on collaboration, peer support, and long-tenured leadership. The role focuses on internal hiring processes as well, including handling internal applications for promotions, and offers opportunities to be part of a highly engaged, collaborative, and supportive recruiting organization. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Seattle, WA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $36.00 - $38.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
