Full Job Description Position Summary:
The Regional Training Manager is responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing training programs across multiple restaurant locations within an assigned region. This role ensures consistent execution of operational standards by building the capabilities of managers and crew, supporting new store openings, and driving performance through effective training and development.Key Responsibilities:
Training & Program Development Implement and maintain training programs for all restaurant roles, including hourly employees, Shift Leaders, and Managers Ensure training materials align with company standards, operational procedures, and brand expectations Evaluate training effectiveness and adjust programs based on performance metrics and feedback Field Training & Execution Conduct in-store training sessions, workshops, and hands-on coaching across assigned locations Support new store openings, remodels, and re-training initiatives Ensure consistent onboarding and orientation processes for all new hires Leadership Development Partner with District Managers to identify development needs and create targeted training plans Coach General Managers and leadership teams on training execution and team development Support succession planning by preparing high-potential employees for advancement Performance & Accountability Monitor training completion, compliance, and skill proficiency across all locations Track key performance indicators (operations, guest experience, and training metrics) to measure impact Identify gaps in execution and implement corrective training plans Compliance & Standards Ensure all training programs meet company policies and applicable regulatory requirements (food safety, workplace safety, harassment prevention, etc.) Maintain accurate training records and documentation Qualifications 3-5+ years of restaurant operations or training experience, preferably in a multi-unit environment Strong understanding of restaurant systems, procedures, and performance metrics Experience delivering training programs Prior leadership or management experience preferred Skills & Competencies Strong facilitation and presentation skills Ability to coach and develop individuals at all levels Organized with strong attention to detail and follow-through Effective communication and interpersonal skills Ability to adapt training approaches based on audience and business needs Work Environment & Requirements Frequent travel between restaurant locations Ability to work a flexible schedule, including early mornings, evenings, and weekends as needed Ability to work in restaurant environments for extended periodsSimilar remote jobs
