Job Summary Job Summary Visions In Education is seeking a strategic and collaborative educational leader to serve as our Director of Career Pathways, Partnerships and Workforce Development. This role provides leadership and oversight for Career Technical Education (CTE), workforce development, career readiness, and postsecondary and career transition initiatives designed to expand equitable student access to high-quality career pathways, work-based learning, apprenticeships, and career-connected opportunities. The ideal candidate is an innovative and relationship-driven professional with experience building strong partnerships among schools, educational partners, workforce agencies, industry leaders, and community organizations. They possess strong knowledge of CTE, workforce development, labor market trends, career readiness, and student success initiatives, along with the ability to lead complex programs, support continuous improvement, and foster inclusive opportunities for diverse student populations. The successful candidate will demonstrate excellent communication, collaboration, and leadership skills with a strong commitment to educational equity, innovation, and student achievement. This position will be based at our offices in Gold River, CA and will have flexibility to work remotely up to 2 days per week. However, this will not begin until the employee is fully trained. Depending upon the needs of the department, this schedule is subject to change. The position will include travel to all counties served by Visions. - Experience in charter schools, independent study programs, alternative education, or nontraditional educational settings is preferred.
