We are seeking a tech-savvy and detail-oriented Legal Professional Staff Trainer to serve as the firm's subject matter expert on our core software platforms and internal processes. This role is focused on training and supporting staff in the use of our firm's systems - primarily Milana, Litify, and Microsoft Word - as well as firm-specific procedures. Comprehensive training on Milana and Litify will be provided; prior experience with these platforms is a plus but not required. The ideal candidate will be a confident trainer and troubleshooter who can help staff work efficiently and accurately within our systems and workflows. What you'll do Provide staff training, ongoing support, and troubleshooting assistance as needed on all programs used by Legal Staff, including, but not limited to, Milana, Litify, Microsoft Word (including Word macros), and Westlaw. Design and deliver training programs through various modalities, including one-on-one coaching, group workshops, instructional manuals, and video tutorials, tailored to staff of all experience levels. Train staff on firm-specific processes and procedures, including intake and case sign-up procedures, expense submission processes, lien negotiation, and preparation of client accountings in accordance with firm standards. Audit workflows and system usage to identify gaps or inefficiencies and provide constructive feedback and hands-on support to help staff improve their proficiency. Onboard new hires and provide ongoing refresher training to existing staff, ensuring consistent and accurate use of firm systems and adherence to internal procedures.

Requirements:

What we're looking for A minimum of 7 years of experience as a paralegal or legal assistant, preferably in a supervisory or lead capacity within a personal injury or litigation firm. Strong technology aptitude with the ability to quickly master new software platforms; prior experience with Milana and/or Litify is a plus - comprehensive training on both will be provided. Exceptional proficiency in Microsoft Word in preparing legal documents, including pleadings, briefs, and tables of authorities, required. Prior experience training, supervising, or mentoring legal assistants and paralegals is required.

Preferred:

Experience developing training materials such as step-by-step guides, quick reference sheets, or video walkthroughs.
