Bilingual Trainer Location:
Enterprise/Deltona, FL Requirements Bachelor's Degree in Social Work, Education, or other related field and two years of training or teaching experience preferred; or any combination of training, education and experience which would provide the required knowledge, abilities and skills to successfully perform in this role. Current or obtain trainer certification in Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI), CPR/First Aid/AED (Red Cross), PSA, and any other training required for the organization. Minimum of 1 year of experience working with children or youth, required. Read, write and speak proficiently in both English and Spanish, required. Provide proof of, obtain, and/or maintain the Office of Refugee Resettlement (ORR) currently required immunizations (which are subject to change per ORR guidance).
Proof of Immunizations:
Valid driver license with a clean driving record, required. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Coordinates and supports all training activities of the Caminos program. This includes collaboration with departments to meet there respective training needs. Oversees the Relias online learning system assignments and tracking of all training of all Caminos staff in the agency and compliance with ORR, Everstand, and other key regulatory bodies. Works collaboratively with supervisors in creating training plans (training assessments) specific to each team to document appropriate compliance with training requirements. Meets regularly with supervisors to access program and team needs as well as progress related to training plans and develop strategies to ensure implementation. Participates in quality improvement aspects of each team to assist in developing training opportunities as indicated by audit results, etc. Provides leadership in one on one training for employees experiencing difficulty in meeting performance expectations. Assumes lead role in developing a Caminos training plan that addresses regulatory requirements, including development of an annual training calendar. Monitors training plans to ensure staff remain current with training requirements. Assists with CEU tracking for licensed clinicians and state license entity. Becomes a provider of CEU's through the DCF portal. Creates training calendar for weekly trainings for direct care staff that feature job related, relevant training. Coordinates with all teams to ensure staff receive required and enhanced training. Briefs leadership and senior leadership quarterly on the status of adherence to the Caminos Training plan. Perform all other job duties and responsibilities, as assigned.
