DESCRIPTION
The Director of Training will lead the strategic development, implementation, and evaluation of comprehensive training programs that empower staff to deliver high-quality, person-centered services to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD). This role ensures that all training initiatives align with the organization's mission to promote dignity, inclusion, and independence for people with I/DD. The Director will foster a culture of continuous learning and professional development, equipping employees with the knowledge, skills, and values necessary to support individuals with compassion, competence, and respect. This position will collaborate across departments to identify training needs, develop curricula, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards and best practices in disability services. Education/Experience Requirements § Bachelor's degree in education or human services, organizational development, or business with a concentration in human resources required. § One year of experience with people with developmental disabilities. § One year of supervisory experience. § You must complete all required training within 120 days of initial employment and stay in compliance with all the required annual training refreshers and all required certifications (including QIDP and all training certifications). § 3 - 5 years' experience in training development/delivery preferred. § An equivalent combination of education and experience with adult learners is considered.

Frequent walking and sitting Regular reaching, grasping, and standing Other physical activities related to an office environment.
