Job Description

As Community Operations Director, you will work with your fellow Director to oversee the day-to-day performance of our community operations team. You will report to the Vice President of Operations and have regular meetings with the leadership team to evaluate performance, employee satisfaction, client retention and satisfaction on deliverables. Both client and employee retention are critical components to our business and a primary focus of the Director's role. For success in this seat, time management, prioritization and organization, effective communication, ability to read and interpret financial documents, and willingness to train new members to the team are all important characteristics to possess. Job Duties and Responsibilities
  • Director oversight over Community Transition in and out
  • Touch bases with Clients to improve relations and satisfaction.
  • Mentor and guide team members, including providing training to new hires.
  • Own resolution of escalated service items.
  • Assist with management of strategic planning, business development, and fiscal operations at the branch level.
Establish positive relationships with Clients and Vendors at branch level. Work with the VP on our client retention efforts by working with the managers and clients. Oversight and support on Client Deliverables Work with BD on client onboard training and cam training development. Providing direct support with CAM training and development with Senior Director. Being a mentor and support for client retention efforts for Asst Directors Working with accounting team on financial escalations Oversight on dashboard/deliverables/TownSq with Asst Directors and their direct reports Assist with customer service escalations when needed. New Hire Onboarding Supervise team of new CAMs Knowledge and Skills
  • Knowledge of GAAP at a proficient level.
  • Knowledge in Customer Service
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.) at an expert level.
  • Knowledge of typical business correspondence (grammar, structure, punctuation, spelling, etc.) at an expert level.
  • Professional communication skills (phone, interpersonal, written, verbal, etc.).
  • Self-motivated, proactive, detail oriented and a team player.
  • Confidentiality and discretion in the performance of all duties and responsibilities.
  • Time management and time critical prioritization skills. Education and Experience
  • Bachelor's Degree Preferred or Based on Experience
  • 5•7 years of directly related or closely related experience • 5•7 years of Management and/or Supervisory experience • 5•7 years of Community Association experience (preferred)
