Salary commensurate with experience, coaching licensure, and qualifications Position Overview New England Force Soccer Club is seeking a passionate, organized, and player-centered leader to serve as our Boys Junior Academy Director and U10 & Younger Boys Age Group Coordinator . This full-time leadership position is responsible for overseeing the development of our youngest male players and ensuring that the club's coaching staff delivers a consistent, high-quality training environment that prepares players for long-term success in the game. The successful candidate will play a critical role in establishing the technical and developmental foundation of our Boys Junior Academy while supporting coaches, educating families, and creating a clear pathway for players to compete successfully in the top leagues throughout Massachusetts and New England.
Key Responsibilities:
Player Development Lead the overall development of boys players ages U10 and younger. Implement and oversee age-appropriate training methodologies aligned with the club's player development philosophy. Ensure players are developing the technical, tactical, physical, and psychological skills necessary for future success. Monitor player progress and collaborate with coaching staff to provide appropriate developmental opportunities. Coaching Leadership Recruit, hire, onboard, and mentor coaches within the Junior Academy program. Conduct regular coach evaluations and provide constructive feedback to ensure coaching excellence. Organize and lead coach education sessions, curriculum reviews, and professional development opportunities. Maintain consistency in coaching standards, training methodology, and player development objectives across all teams. Program Management Coordinate all aspects of the U10 and younger boys age groups. Develop seasonal training plans and oversee program implementation. Ensure alignment between team training sessions, club curriculum, and long-term player development goals. Assist with player evaluations, team formation processes, and placement recommendations. Parent and Family Education Serve as a primary point of communication for players and families within the Junior Academy. Educate parents on the club's developmental philosophy and explain the "why" behind training methods, player pathways, and long-term development decisions. Conduct parent meetings, workshops, and informational sessions designed to foster understanding and support of the club's mission. Club Leadership Collaborate with club directors and staff to support the overall growth and success of New England Force. Represent the club professionally within leagues, coaching organizations, and the broader soccer community. Contribute to strategic planning and initiatives that strengthen the club's player development pathway. QualificationsRequired US Soccer, United Soccer Coaches, or equivalent coaching licensure. Demonstrated experience coaching youth soccer players, particularly in foundational development ages. Experience recruiting, mentoring, and evaluating coaches. Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills. Ability to effectively communicate developmental concepts to players, coaches, and parents. Passion for long-term player development and creating positive learning environments. Preferred Advanced coaching licenses and continued professional education. Experience directing youth soccer programs or academy environments. Familiarity with competitive youth soccer leagues and pathways throughout Massachusetts and New England. Experience implementing age-specific player development curricula.
