District Director Sanbridge Early Learning Center is dedicated to creating a nurturing, innovative, and high-quality environment where young children can learn, grow, and thrive. Job Summary Sanbridge Early Learning Center is seeking a dynamic, strategic, and results-oriented District Director to oversee multiple early learning centers within our network. The District Director provides strategic and operational leadership to Center Directors and their teams, ensuring each center delivers high-quality educational experiences while achieving enrollment, financial, operational, and customer service goals. The ideal candidate is an experienced multi-site leader who combines strong business acumen with a passion for early childhood education. This individual will be responsible for strategic planning, financial performance, operational excellence, leadership development, compliance, enrollment growth, and fostering a positive, high-performing team culture. Key Responsibilities Operations & Performance Management Oversee the daily operations and overall performance of multiple early learning centers. Strategic Planning & Business Growth Develop and execute strategic plans designed to improve center performance, enrollment, family satisfaction, and community engagement. Identify opportunities for business development, community partnerships, and enrollment growth. Strengthen Sanbridge's presence within the communities we serve by building relationships with families, schools, businesses, and community organizations. Support Center Directors in developing and executing center-level growth strategies. Contribute to organizational planning and initiatives that support long-term growth and innovation. Financial Management Analyze and manage center and district financial performance, including profit and loss statements, budgets, revenue, and expenses. Identify opportunities to increase revenue, improve resource utilization, and control costs. Oversee budgeting, financial reporting, forecasting, and resource allocation. Use financial and operational data to identify trends, evaluate performance, and inform strategic decisions. Partner with Center Directors to establish financial accountability and achieve performance objectives. Leadership & Team Development Lead, motivate, and develop Center Directors and regional management teams. Provide regular coaching, feedback, and professional development to strengthen leadership capabilities. Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement. Identify leadership development and succession opportunities within the district. Promote participation in professional development, workshops, training, and Sanbridge development programs. Support managers in building engaged, high-performing teams and maintaining a positive workplace culture. Compliance & Quality Standards Ensure all assigned centers maintain compliance with applicable state and local childcare licensing regulations, company policies, and operational standards. Conduct periodic operational and compliance reviews and partner with Center Directors to address identified opportunities. Support Center Directors in preparing for and responding to licensing audits, inspections, and regulatory requirements. Ensure accurate documentation, reporting, and recordkeeping across the district. Partner with instructional and training leaders to promote high-quality educational practices and consistent program standards. Collaboration & Community Engagement Coordinate with the Regional Manager and/or personnel designated by the CEO to ensure strategic alignment, effective communication, and appropriate resource allocation. Collaborate with the Curriculum Specialist and Training Director to promote instructional quality, staff development, and consistent implementation of educational practices. Serve as a professional representative of Sanbridge when engaging with families, school partners, community organizations, and other stakeholders. Communicate district priorities, performance expectations, and organizational initiatives effectively across all levels of the organization. Provide leadership, coaching, and accountability to Center Directors and management teams. Establish district-wide goals and ensure consistent progress toward operational, enrollment, financial, and quality objectives. Monitor key performance indicators, including enrollment, staffing, retention, family engagement, customer satisfaction, and financial performance. Identify operational challenges and implement effective solutions to improve efficiency, quality, and center performance. Promote consistent implementation of Sanbridge policies, procedures, and standards across all assigned centers. Required QualificationsEducation Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, Business Administration, Education, or a related field required. Master's degree preferred. Reliable transportation and the ability to travel regularly between assigned early learning centers are required. Experience Minimum of 5 years of multi-site management experience, preferably within early childhood education, childcare, education, or a comparable service-oriented industry. Demonstrated experience leading and developing managers, directors, or executive-level teams. Proven experience with profit & loss management, budgeting, financial analysis, and data-driven decision-making. Demonstrated success in strategic planning, project management, and operational oversight. Experience driving enrollment, business development, customer satisfaction, or organizational growth. Working knowledge of state and local childcare licensing requirements and operational compliance. Experience with Lean management, process improvement, or continuous improvement methodologies is highly desirable. Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and the ability to analyze data and translate findings into actionable business strategies.
