Job Description

Behavioral Response Program Director We are seeking a behavioral response program director that has a passion for serving people with developmental disabilities and related conditions in an environment that fosters the development of one's core character, including yours! Exhibiting a lifelong commitment to personal growth and development, such as active engagement in professional mentoring and coaching opportunities is required. You must have the desire to work a flexible schedule and be on call. You'll be on-call, responding to calls for support from Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) across our homes. Sometimes that means going on-site and stepping into an active situation. Other times, it's consulting with Senior Directors and then providing over-the-phone guidance to staff. You'll also work regular shifts alongside teams in our highest-needs homes, helping to build relationships, provide consistency, and develop proactive strategies that align with our values. Experience in mental health issues and high intensity aggressive behaviors is required. Responsibilities Be on-call, responding to the health and safety needs of the program. Maintain readiness to travel to homes in your personal vehicle. Effectively implement de-escalation strategies. Engage continuously with personal development resources, mentoring, coaching, and professional development training. Develop and maintain an effective professional calendar focused on achieving priorities and maintaining a healthy life balance. Complete resident incident and progress reports. Mentor Direct Support Staff in developing positive influential relationships. Direct and keep up to date the staff and resident schedules. Work shifts to provide ongoing training to staff and cover staffing gaps. Write resident progress reports, and other reports related to resident programs. Required Qualifications Be at least 21 years of age Pass the child and adult foster care background check Possess a valid driver's license, meeting the driving record standards to be insured by GraceLyn Group's vehicle insurance provider. Meet the requirements of a Designated Coordinator as defined in Minnesota Statues, chapter 245
D Compensation & Benefits Salary:
$58,000 - $65,000 depending on experience and qualifications
