Job Description
Major Responsibilities:
The Division Director of Workforce Development will be responsible for some or all of the following: Local and Enterprise-wide Training Programs Assesses and identifies training needs and solutions for division-based critical healthcare roles in partnership with the Division HR RVP and functional stakeholders. Manages, implements, and supports enterprise-wide and local training programs within respective divisions. Provides support to trainees to increase retention and successful program completion. Identifies and recommends workforce development best practices to drive program impact. Serves as COE lead within two Divisions, working with executive division leadership to scale programs and participation. Grants & Partnerships Aligns grant funding strategy to training priorities for critical healthcare roles across local and enterprise-wide programs. Researches, identifies, and applies for federal, state, and local grants to offset the cost of training opportunities. Identifies external partners (academic and training providers) with organizational infrastructure for development of grant-funded workforce development programs. Manages grant cycle; oversees grant requirements, implementation, and administration, ensures alignment with organizational needs and compliance with division and corporate stakeholders. Strengthens local, academic, and community partnerships to expand and broaden upskilling opportunities and funding sources. Metrics & Reporting Monitors and tracks trainee recruitment, retention, and program completion. Leads data collection and reporting for grant management in collaboration with academic and community partners Works with COE leaders and key stakeholders to establish the critical business, operational and quality metrics for downstream reporting (e.g., dashboard, ops review, etc.). Professional Practice Problem solves independently and engages stakeholders appropriately This job may require up to 25% travel.Education & Experience:
