Job Description

Training Supervisor Location:
Lancaster, PA Compensation:
Competitive base + full benefits Overview We are seeking a Training Supervisor to lead the development and execution of training programs within a manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for building workforce capability through structured onboarding, technical training, and continuous improvement initiatives. This is a hands-on leadership role working cross-functionally with Operations, HR, Quality, and Engineering to ensure employees are trained, certified, and set up for success on the floor. What You'll Be Doing Training Program Leadership Oversee onboarding and training for new hires and employees transitioning roles Identify skill gaps and develop targeted training programs Standardize and improve training processes across the plant Workforce Development Build technical capabilities across production teams Track and improve: certification rates training cycle times skill progression Ensure employees are equipped to meet safety, quality, and production standards Continuous Improvement Lead and support CI initiatives (A3, RCA, Lean) Improve training systems to drive measurable gains in: safety quality delivery cost Cross-Functional Collaboration Partner with Operations, HR, Quality, EHS, and Engineering Integrate new equipment, processes, and procedures into training programs Leadership & Floor Support Lead and coach training staff Support production as needed (including stepping in for supervisors) Help coordinate workforce scheduling and coverage What You Need 2+ years of experience in training within manufacturing or industrial environments Supervisory or leadership experience Strong process improvement / CI mindset Technical or mechanical aptitude Experience developing and delivering training programs Nice to Have Food processing / regulated manufacturing experience Exposure to A3, RCA, Lean methodologies Better Process School certification What They Actually Need Someone who can build and improve training systems , not just maintain them A leader who can coach, train, and hold people accountable Someone comfortable being on the floor and working directly with operations
Pay:
$70,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
