A Director of Training and Development is responsible for managing all staff training and professional development programs for an employer or organization. Decides the training requirements of the organization and designs training programs that address staff needs. May also be partially responsible for determining the strategic goals of the organization. Supervises training managers and training staff and evaluates training impact.

Job Description
- Management oversight of the Operations Initial and Re-qualification Training Programs, including the simulator, in accordance with CPNPP, industry, and regulatory requirements
- Management oversight of the Maintenance, Radiation Protection, Chemistry, and Engineering Training Programs in accordance with CPNPP and industry requirements
- Management oversight of the Industrial Technology student program, college programs, and other staffing development programs
- Maintain active involvement with INPO/National Academy for Nuclear Training evaluations and assist visits, Industry working groups such as Westrain , Training Program Review Board activities, Industry trend analysis, and monitoring of training effectiveness Education, Experience, & Skill Requirements
- Four years professional related experience.
- Two years nuclear power plant experience. During the two years, the individual shall have participated in the operations or training section activities.
- Experience gained through college degree programs and/or certifications is applicable to above skills Key Metrics
