Director, Training

Join the Blue Ridge Beverage team! The Director of Training will lead and deliver our learning and development programs. This is a highly hands-on position for someone who enjoys both building a training strategy and rolling up their sleeves to design and facilitate learning. As a one-person training function, this role owns the full lifecycle of training - from identifying needs and creating content to procuring external training to facilitating sessions and measuring effectiveness. The Director of Training will work closely with company leaders to ensure training is practical, engaging, and aligned with day-to-day business needs. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and facilitate training programs for sales, operations, administrative and leadership employees Create onboarding, safety, internal certification, and a variety of other skill development programs Develop training materials, job aids, and presentations for use across the organization Manages the identification, selection, and coordination of external training partners to address specialized training needs not supported by internal resources or expertise. Administer and manage the Learning Management System (LMS), including course creation and reporting Partner with leaders to identify training needs and support performance improvement Support internal career pathways, succession planning, and employee development initiatives Qualifications Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience 5+ years of experience designing and delivering training in an operations-driven environment Strong facilitation and presentation skills Experience with LMS administration and instructional design Ability to work independently and balance strategic planning with hands-on execution This role is ideal for a self-directed training professional who thrives in an operational environment and enjoys making a direct, visible impact on workforce development.
