Until Filled Behavioral Health Training Specialist (Wasilla) - To lead and coordinate CCS Early Learning's Behavioral Health Associate (BHA) Workforce Training Hub curriculum — training CCS staff in Year 1 and, as the program expands, Behavioral Health Associates employed by community partner organizations and statewide Head Start providers. Select and adapt evidence-based early childhood mental health curricula, deliver the lab-school training model within CCS's active Head Start classrooms, and track training outcomes to continuously improve curriculum quality.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education, Human Services, Psychology, Social Work, or a Closely Related Field Required; Master's Degree Preferred

At Least Three (3) Years of Experience Designing, Delivering, or Coordinating Professional Training or Coaching for Early Childhood or Human-Services Staff

Knowledge of Early Childhood Development (ages 0-5) and Trauma-Responsive, Family-Centered Practice

Familiarity with, or Willingness to Train in, Evidence-Based Curricula Such as the

Pyramid Model, DC:

0-5, Circle of Security, PCIT, CPP, or TBRI

Experience Developing or Applying a Training Fidelity/Competency Framework and Pre/Post Knowledge Assessments

Excellent Presentation, Coaching, and Adult-Learning Facilitation Skills

Ability to Build and Maintain Partnerships with Training/Curriculum Partners (e.g., AK-AIMH) and, During in Later Years, Statewide Head Start Organizations

Ability to Learn and Utilize CCS's Electronic Health Record (EHR) System for Training/Tracking Documentation

Certified Trauma Smart, Conscious Discipline, and PACE's Facilitator or Willingness to Become Certified

Ability to lift and carry 50 pounds

Capable of Getting Up and Down from the Floor with Ease

Can Stand and/or Sit for Extended Periods of Time Interchangeably, with the Ability to Regularly Kneel, Stoop, Bend, and/or Sit on the Floor

Visual Acuity Necessary to Utilize a Computer Monitor Throughout a Normal Workday

Ability to Communicate Verbally, Both in Person and Over the Telephone

Ability to Engage in Physical Activity while Observing/Coaching in Classrooms (e.g., Sitting on the Floor, Kneeling, Standing for Extended Periods)

Salary:
