Staff Development Coordinator Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Staff Development Coordinator to join our team at our skilled nursing and rehab center. As a key member of our staff, you will play a vital role in driving excellence in patient care and staff development at our facility. Responsibilities:
Develop and implement staff development programs, including training sessions, workshops, and on-the-job training, to enhance staff skills and knowledge Collaborate with department leaders to identify training needs and develop targeted solutions Design and deliver comprehensive orientation programs for new employees, ensuring a smooth transition into our team Conduct coaching and mentoring sessions to support staff growth and development Maintain accurate records of staff development activities, including training hours and evaluations Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices, incorporating new knowledge into staff development programs Provide scheduling and labor monitoring to the nursing department
Requirements:
RN or LPN license in Alabama Excellent communication, interpersonal, and coaching skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
