Job Description Role Summary The Technical Trainer - NEO owns the delivery of the new hire onboarding experience for all incoming manufacturing personnel. This role ensures every employee enters the production environment trained, certified, and ready to safely perform Day 1 responsibilities through structured general safety, site orientation, and foundational manufacturing instruction. Key Responsibilities Deliver standardized new employee onboarding curriculum across all incoming production, logistics, and support personnel. Facilitate baseline general safety training, including OSHA -10, Hazard Communication ( GHS ), PPE , Emergency Action Plans, Fire Prevention, First Aid/ CPR / AED , slips/trips/falls, heat illness prevention, LOTO awareness, and noise/hearing conservation. Administer site orientation covering facility layout, code of conduct, attendance expectations, escalation pathways, and reporting protocols. Validate completion of all pre-deployment training requirements and gate workforce release into production roles based on certification readiness. Maintain accurate training records within the Learning Management System ( LMS ), including completion rates, assessment scores, and certification status. Partner with Training Operations Leads (Fabrication, Assembly, Logistics) to ensure seamless handoff from onboarding into role-based technical training pathways. Continuously refine onboarding content based on retention data, early-tenure feedback, and operational outcomes.
