We are seeking compassionate and motivated Talent Development Specialists to join a dynamic workforce development team making a real impact in the community. This is a fun, team-oriented environment and a great opportunity for someone interested in social services, workforce development, human resources, or career counseling.
What You'll Do:
As a Talent Development Specialist, you'll act as a career coach and advocate for job seekers by helping them overcome barriers and successfully return to work.
Responsibilities include:
Coaching and advising job seekers throughout the employment process Assisting with resumes, interview preparation, and job search strategies Connecting individuals with community resources such as transportation, daycare, and professional clothing Supporting customers facing barriers to employment Maintaining accurate case notes and records Monitoring customer participation and progress Building relationships with employers and community partners Managing customer concerns and ensuring follow-through with action plans
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree required Valid California Driver's License required Strong communication, organizational, and computer skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple deadlines Passion for helping people and making a difference
