Job Description:
Summary Trainer I for Learning and Development is responsible for supporting the administration of compliance?related training and coordinating general training activities. This role focuses on accurate scheduling, tracking, documentation, and follow?up of required training to ensure employees complete assigned courses on time and records are maintained properly. In addition to coordination responsibilities, this role offers a clear development path into training facilitation. The Trainer I will have opportunities to learn our programs, build foundational facilitation skills, and gradually begin co?facilitating sessions with support from experienced trainers. They will not be expected to lead trainings independently until they are fully prepared and confident. They will receive ongoing coaching and guidance throughout their growth. Essential Duties
  • Support the administration of required compliance training programs (e.g., Security Awareness, Code of Conduct, Anti-Harassment, EH&S) as assigned.
  • Assist with assigning training, scheduling sessions, and sending reminder or follow-up communications.
  • Maintain accurate training completion records within the Learning Management System (LMS).
  • Run standard reports to identify overdue, incomplete, or exception-based training.
  • Assist with compiling and organizing training documentation to support audits and internal reviews.
  • Maintain compliance training trackers, matrices, and reference documents following established guidelines.
  • Coordinate logistics for instructor-led, virtual, and on-demand training (calendar invites, room scheduling, materials, attendance tracking).
  • Support course uploads, testing, and basic troubleshooting within the LMS using established procedures.
  • Assist with employee and manager communications related to training assignments, schedules, and deadlines.
  • Help maintain training calendars, SharePoint pages, and learning reference materials.
  • Coordinate translation or localization logistics when content is provided by the business or L&D team.
  • Follow defined processes and checklists to support consistent and accurate training execution.
  • Provide general administrative and operational support to the Learning & Development team.
  • Participate in assigned training coordination or compliance support projects.
  • Develop familiarity with L&D training programs, tools, and methodologies to prepare for future facilitation responsibilities.
  • Shadow experienced facilitators to observe delivery techniques, learner engagement strategies, and program flow.
  • Support live training sessions by handling logistics, learner questions, and in?session coordination.

facilitation of select modules with coaching and support from the L&D team.
JOB SPECIFICATIONS III. EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Education, Human Resources, Business, Compliance, or a related field preferred.
  • 0-2 years of experience in training coordination, HR administration, learning operations, compliance support, or a related administrative role.
  • Experience working with spreadsheets, trackers, or databases to manage and track information.
  • Prior exposure to a Learning Management System (LMS) for data entry, reporting, or record maintenance is a plus.
  • Experience supporting compliance-related activities, audits, or training programs is helpful but not required.

  • Strong organizational and time management skills with high attention to detail.
  • Ability to follow defined processes and work with structured systems and deadlines.
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills.
  • Comfortable coordinating with multiple stakeholders for scheduling and follow-up.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Teams, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to work independently on assigned tasks while escalating questions appropriately.
