Quality and Training Specialist We are searching for an experienced Quality and Training Specialist at our Fresno facility.

SUMMARY The Quality and Training Specialist supports the organization's Quality Management System (QMS) to ensure compliance with ISO standards, applicable AIB (American Institute of Baking) food safety and Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) requirements, as well as FDA regulations, this includes all related QMS established audits that need completed, weekly, monthly, etc. This role also supports the training and development of Co‑owners.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Maintain and support ISO certifications, Quality Management System and Training initiatives. Control and update all quality and training documentation. Coordinate/conduct ISO internal audits and support external/3rd Party certification audits. Track corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) and verify effectiveness as required. Assist with risk assessments and process improvement initiatives. Support compliance with AIB Consolidated Standards. Assist with food safety documentation and recordkeeping. Participate / conduct food safety training and awareness programs. Support root cause investigations related to quality or food safety issues. Perform ISO Internal process audits and supplier quality evaluations. Analyze quality trends and recommend corrective actions. Support continuous improvement initiatives. Assist with customer complaints (CAPA's) and nonconformance investigations as required. Provide all training to both Leadership / Co-owners. Audit training progress across the network ensuring compliance and communicate results. Promote a culture of quality and continuous improvement throughout the network. Various related assignments and work projects as assigned. Work independently with the ability to prioritize work to meet assigned deadlines Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, Powerpoint, and Outlook. Flexibility to support a three-shift operation, as needed. Ability to read, write, and speak English, bi-lingual is a plus. Strong knowledge of QMS principles and auditing practices. Ability to present information to large groups.
Required Qualifications:
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS 1-3
years of experience in quality assurance, preferably in distribution warehouse environment. Experience with the development and implementation of ISO, QMS, Processes, Work Instructions, AIB standards (audits), FDA (audits), and Training in the aforementioned areas.
