Crzookie is a cookie and ice cream shop in Huntington Beach. We currently bake from purchased dough and are bringing recipe development in house.
The workDevelop three original cookie dough formulas to an agreed flavor directionIterate to a target food cost per unitScale each formula for daily batch production on our equipmentDocument each formula clearly enough that our team can execute it without you presentTrain staff once the recipes are approvedWho we are looking forCommercial baking or pastry experience, ideally in production or high volume. Three or more years is preferred, though strong recent graduates who can show relevant work are welcome to apply. We want someone who formulates rather than follows recipes, and who understands how a formula behaves when batch size changes.
TermsPaid at the daily rate listed above. We expect up to eight on-site sessions across the project, scheduled by agreement. Work for hire; we own the finished formulas. Work happens at our shop in the morning before service. Recipe Development Project:
Three Signature Cookie DoughsThis is a defined project with a set number of sessions, not an ongoing position. We are hiring one pastry professional to develop three cookie dough recipes from scratch and hand them off to our team.Crzookie is a cookie and ice cream shop in Huntington Beach.
