- Opportunity for travel and hands-on involvement in training events. What's a typical day as an Medical Device Technician? You'll be:
- Following policies and procedures related to work activities, ensuring compliance with safety and health care guidelines.
- Scheduling logistics for training equipment and traveling offsite to set up for training events (up to 25% of the time).
- Maintaining inventory levels of finished goods and ensuring all equipment is operational for training sessions.
- Complete training in area of responsibility within allowed time-period. Training is required for changes in existing policies and procedures, for new assignments and for implementation of new policies and procedures
- Complete required periodic re-training in areas such as safety and environmental compliance.
- Follow Health Care Compliance guidelines as well as follow operating room training and safety standards (Bloodborne pathogens training, etc.).
- Support and Maintain Education/Marketing/ULS Equipment
- Schedule Logistics for training equipment.
- Perform critical system software upgrades on ULS sims, carto laptop sims & workstations systems
- Maintain all equipment in a working manner (Capital equipment, Carto, ULS Sims, Workstations, Laptops, Wet baths, and Heartroids.)
- Setup equipment and breakdown for each training event held.
- Upgrade/Repair any system when needed.
- Prep and ship all equipment to each training event.
- Provide live support on the final testing day for Comm Ed classes.
- Coordinate shipments to and from training sites.
- Maintain inventory of disposables for training needs
- Manage the storage and warehousing of equipment.
- Maintain all systems in the JJI training center
- Perform Preventative maintenance prior to show on all Prof Ed systems.
- Palletize and make sure all equipment is labeled and ready for pick up for shipment to events.
- Work with 3rd Party companies to target potential equipment or packaging modifications if needed. This job might be an outstanding fit if you:
- Have a High School diploma (required) and some warehouse/distribution experience (preferred).
- Possess basic computer skills in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word, along with basic math skills.
- Demonstrate strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
