Job Description

OCHIN Epic Training Specialist, Part-Time Are you a certified Epic expert passionate about empowering healthcare professionals through impactful training? Join us in a vital role supporting the OCHIN Epic system, where your expertise will enable clinicians and staff to navigate and utilize Epic with confidence. As an Epic Training Specialist, you'll play a key part in onboarding new users, delivering engaging role-based instruction, and fostering seamless Epic adoption across diverse community-based healthcare teams.
Pay Rate:
$44 per hour
Location:
On-Site in Oakland, CA (West Oakland)
Schedule:
2 Days per week (Monday/Wednesday but may vary)
Hours:
8:00am to 5:00pm
Type:
Contract-to-Hire Required Skills:
Minimum of 2 years of technical knowledge of OCHIN Epic workflows, features, and navigation Epic Trainer Certification is a must Strong understanding of adult learning principles, curriculum design, and training delivery methods Excellent communication skills, capable of engaging learners in both classroom and virtual environments Ability to translate complex technical concepts into user-friendly training content Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priority tasks effectively Nice to
Have Skills:
Certification in EpicCare Ambulatory or Wisdom Experience developing e-learning modules, quick reference guides, and instructional videos Familiarity with Epic updates, enhancements, and system optimization efforts
Preferred Education and Experience:
Relevant technical or healthcare-related education background Prior experience in EHR training within clinical or community health settings is highly valued
Other Requirements:
Reliable attendance and consistency within a part-time, contract-to-hire schedule (Mondays & Wednesdays, 8:00am - 5:00pm, schedule may vary) Ability to collaborate effectively with IT, clinical, and operational teams Join us and make a meaningful impact in Oakland's community health landscape.
