As an adaptive skills trainer, you will provide 1:1 life skills training to individuals with developmental disabilities. From helping clients master their morning routine to building the social skills needed to make a new friend, the small wins we make possible are the difference between a life well lived and a life lived on the sidelines. $36.00-$42.00 per hour

Full-time or Part-time What You'll Do Work 1:1 with clients to build practical, everyday habits and skills like morning routines, hygiene, and social interaction. Follow a specific growth plan designed for each client's unique needs. Log brief notes after each visit to track progress and milestones. Required:

Master's degree in a Human Services field (Psychology, Education, Counseling, Social Work, Nursing, ABA, Rehab, or related ). 1 year of experience working with individuals with disabilities. Ability to pass a Live Scan background check. CPR/First Aid certification (or we'll help you get it). Ability to work independently and follow structured intervention plans.

Note:

Candidates with bachelor's degrees and experience with AST are encouraged to apply as well and are eligible for $25-$30/hr.

Preferred:

Bilingual (English/Spanish highly preferred) Experience providing ILS, SLS, ABA, behavior intervention, or school-based support FAQ I work in AST/ABA. Can I bring my clients with me? Yes. Continuity of care is important. Since families always have the right to choose their provider, our door is open if they follow you. We'll handle the full transfer seamlessly so your care never skips a beat.

Work Location:

Primarily in the consumer's home and community in the San Fernando Valley.
