Duties Help H-Band :
Performs multiple and varying assignments under the limited direction of a manager, project/program manager, team leader, or more experienced professional. Acts as an individual contributor and/or member of a team and may perform some leadership functions for small projects/programs or other work activities. Applies experience and knowledge to plan and accomplish assignments. Assignments may require knowledge and experience working across functional and/or organizional lines.
Typical assignments may include:
compiling, tracking and analyzing da to ensure compliance with policies and procedures; providing guidance to less-experienced professionals in day-to-day operions; identifying, analyzing, and recommending solutions for complex/difficult problems; and recommending improvements to systems and processes. Independently plans time and uses assigned resources to accomplish work tasks and projects. Conducts and coordines aeronautical studies for proposed construction projects, including activion/deactivion and alterion of landing areas to determine potential effects on air navigion. Provides guidance to less-experienced professionals in day-to-day operions; Interacts with, provides technical guidance and assistance to, and coordines with Regional and Airport District Office (ADO) staff, including engineers, planners; other internal FAA Lines of Business and the public to accomplish tasks or small projects. Researches, extracts, analyzes and inputs da within an automed system and/or manual da files; compose correspondence, prepare reports and presentions to communice programmic and technical informion. Collabores with the coordinor and management to develop comprehensive training merial for non-technical training required to meet current needs which cannot be sisfied by training available within the FAA, computer-based instruction mode, or out-of-agency. Reviews, evalues, advises, tracks and reports employees' training and certificion stus on systems and services th support the Nional Airspace System (NAS). Ensures the coordinor and management are kept apprised of the organizion's non-technical and technical training needs and trends. Contacts typically are internal and external, with regular contacts among major subdivisions and LOB's/SO's, customers, and other external parties to share informion about the FAA and explain the applicions of policies and procedures. Established policies/procedures provide guidance for most assignments, but allow considerable discretion for employee to select the most approprie approach(es) or recommend new approaches. Performs other duties as assigned.
I-Band:
Incumbent performs similar duties, but with less frequent supervision. The Senior Training Coordinor provides support in the safe and efficient operion of the vast and complex network of systems required for the world's largest air traffic control and navigion system. Manages the non-technical training program, which includes administrive, hazardous merial, logistics, managerial, office automion, safety, and human relions courses. Performs multiple, varying, and complex assignments under the minimal direction of a manager, project/program manager, team leader or more experienced professional. May act as a contributing specialist on large work activities or as a project manager or team leader for large projects/programs/activities. Maintains advanced knowledge of FAA training requirements, policies and processes. Identifies, plans and organizes available resources to accomplish projects/programs and activities. Ensures all prerequisite training, enrollment and pre-course counseling forms are completed in a timely manner. Provides guidance, support, and training on Airspace processing and review to less experienced professionals. Performs other duties as assigned.
