Job Description

Primary Purpose:
The primary purpose is to understand the employment needs of programs, particularly where vacancies are heaviest. Cultivate talent and coordinate appropriate orientations for all per diem staff. Assume responsibility for ensuring that enough oriented per diem staff exist to meet programmatic needs. Work with program managers to fill scheduling gaps between 2-4 weeks in advance. Evaluate and implement automated scheduling applications and train staff appropriately.
Days/Hours of Position:
40-hr/wk. typically MondayFriday, 8:00 am - 4:00 pm Supervised by:
Human Resources ManagerHourly Rate:
$23.00 - $24.50
Essential Functions:
Collaborate with the management team to ensure adequate staffing for programs during absences due to potential leaves or vacations.

Maintain a current Per Diem Staff list Ensure all Per Diem staff meet CCARC Per Diem requirements, including working hours and training compliance.

Ensure adequate numbers of Per Diem staff are oriented in several programs, particularly programs with the greatest vacancy and need. Evaluate, implement, and manage an automated scheduling application and processes.

Develop expertise with CCARC current training application, train managers, and collaborate with managers to ensure all Direct Support Professionals comply with state-mandated training requirements.
Other Related Responsibilities:
Maintain good daily attendance (days of absence, illness).Cooperative, versatile, work as a team member.

Work Experience Requirements:
Preferred bachelor's degree; education may be substituted with relevant experience. Proficient in Microsoft Office and familiar with various software applications and database management.
Physical Requirements:
Occasional lifting up to ten lbs. Vision must be good or corrected to normal to perform normal job duties.

Hearing must be good to have the ability to understand information to perform job duties. Ability to read and write in English in order to process paperwork and follow up on any actions necessary. Ability to sitfor extended periods of time and complete repetitive tasks like answering phones and typing.
