Job Description

Job Description The Training Coordinator will be responsible for growing the business and growing our people through training team members to have a positive influence on all who come in contact with Chick-fil-A by training them to know and understand our values and principles. The Training Coordinator will also perform all administrative duties necessary to be a faithful steward of the people and property entrusted to us.
Benefits:

Responsibilities:
Conduct orientation so that new hires will be introduced to CFA culture. New hires should know and understand our performance standards and expectations upon completion of orientation. Organize classroom training so that new team members will receive the foundational knowledge they need to begin training in the restaurant Create and administer menu test; keep menu test updated with current menu items Develop written training program for each level of our team: team member, Trainer I, Trainer II, and Shift Leader Teach new trainers how to be effective in their training efforts and ensure they are following the appropriate program. Conduct training exit interviews with trainees and their trainers to determine whether new team members are ready to exit the first phase of training or if their training period should be extended. Gather feedback from trainees and trainers in order to continually improve the training program. Coordinate necessary certification classes Assign Pathway modules as needed to new hires and team members who desire to aspire to become trainers Maintain training threads on Slack App to initiate and encourage communication Create work schedules on a weekly basis for trainers and trainees
REQUIREMENTS 2
years minimum as training coordinator/manager or similar position Ability and willingness to work hands on in the restaurant, supporting operations as needed Strong Communication skills and problem solving skills. Ability to complete full training cycle Full availability to be scheduled Monday-Friday Located in Bradenton, FL, Chick-fil-A Cortez Plaza and Chick-fil-A Manatee are run by Nathan Hoeksema, who become a Chick-fil-A Operator in 2000 at the age of 23! While working behind the Chick-fil-A counter at age 15, Nathan was captured by the company's mission and after college, felt called to pursue Chick-fil-A as his place of mission. After 11 years of operating and seeing tremendous success in his first restaurant location, Nathan was presented with the opportunity to move to Bradenton and open his current restaurant in the fall of 2013. Since opening in 2013, the team has consecutively increased store sales with a projection to be in the top 10 stores in the entire Chick-fil-A chain by the end of 2019. Now in 2023 Cortez Plaza is in the top 3 stores in the entire chain. Also in 2023 Nathan has opened his second location: Chick-fil-A Manatee.
