Job Description Title:
Teacher, Professional Development Program Job Description To provide instruction to adult students on business topics including Macroeconomics, Microeconomics, Marketing, Information Systems, Business Law, Management and others. The students are ESL speakers at an advanced or higher level. This is a part-time position. Hours are Mon/Tues/Wed/Thurs from 9:00am
  • 10:50am & 11:20am
  • 1:10pm plus Mondays from 1:40pm
  • 3:30pm.
Applicants must be able to teach all listed sessions.
Start Date:
August 31, 2026 with training commencing the week of August 24. Functions
  • Keep records of grades, grade papers, and perform other administrative duties as needed.
  • Create projects designed to enhance classes.
  • Read and stay abreast of current topics in business.
  • Create lesson plans.
  • Utilize various curriculum resources.
  • Integrate competencies, goals, and objectives into lesson plans.
  • Utilize curricula that reflect the diverse educational, cultural, and linguistic backgrounds of the students served.
  • Develop incentives to keep participants in class.
  • Utilize online resources.
  • Other tasks as assigned.
Qualifications & Experience Required:
  • Bachelor's Degree required.
  • Minimum of three months teaching experience.
  • Demonstrated teaching and classroom management skills.
The following criteria are highly valued by
TALK Schools:
  • Bachelor's degree or Master's degree in Business Administration, or similar;
  • Experience teaching international students and/or having lived abroad. Salary Range is commensurate with experience. Hourly teaching rate range from $25
  • $27 per hour plus weekly admin prep time and a course completion/performance bonus.
