Maintenance Specialist (Flight & Training Systems)

Technical SME role supporting military training devices, simulation systems, testing, delivery, and operator or maintainer instruction in regulated defense environments. Job Requirements 6+ years of hands-on experience with military equipment, systems, or weapons in a maintenance or operator capacity Experience serving as a Subject Matter Expert for training, instruction, or technical support Ability to read and work from technical manuals and engineering drawings Strong troubleshooting experience with military systems and equipment Experience supporting or developing training materials, curriculum, or instruction Background in system integration or working closely with engineering and technical teams Experience working in defense, military, or government-regulated environments including ITAR and CUI Eligibility to obtain a security clearance, if required Ability to travel for testing, training, and device delivery support Preferred Skills Experience supporting the design, development, testing, and delivery of military training devices Experience with simulation-based training solutions Experience supporting operator and maintainer training programs Experience with field testing and customer-facing training activities Experience supporting compliance with technical, operational, and contractual requirements Job Responsibilities Support the design, development, testing, and delivery of military training devices and simulation-based training solutions Provide technical expertise on military systems for training device development and support Perform hands-on troubleshooting of systems, equipment, and training devices Support system integration activities with engineering and production teams Assist in developing operator and maintainer training materials, curriculum, and instructional content Help ensure training devices meet technical, operational, and contractual requirements Support field testing, device delivery, and customer-facing training activities Maintain compliance with ITAR and CUI requirements during development, testing, and delivery activities
