Food & Nutrition Services, Pasco Schools District, 7227 Land 'Lakes Blvd., Land O'Lakes, FL 34638 Non-Instructinal Non-Bargaining (NNB) 7.5 Hours Benefit Earning 12 month position, 245 Days/Year ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Team Development Assist with planning and organizing activities related to the hiring and professional development of all school FNS personnel. Assess FNS department and school-based employee training needs and develop training programs and curriculum to meet identified needs utilizing appropriate adult learning principles in the design and delivery of training programs. Develop, organize and facilitate the FNS Management Internship program and leadership development programs for FNS personnel. Assess FNS school staffing needs and assist in the development of recruitment and hiring procedures. Coordinate screening of applicants to provide hiring managers with qualified candidates for FNS positions. Monitor in-service supplemental pay for all FNS personnel. Provide customer service to employees and applicants, providing information and responding to inquiries regarding employment, certification, compensation, benefits, and other personnel related questions. Serve as a district representative at emergency shelters as determined by the Superintendent and provide leadership to ensure a secure work environment during an emergency or crisis situation. Perform other duties as assigned. EDUCATION, TRAINING & EXPERIENCE
Associate degree from an accredited institution in the field of Food and Nutrition, or related field Three years' experience in school food service management, finance, professional development, food service operations, or related experience OR Any equivalent combination of education and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the essential duties and responsibilities of the position OTHER REQUIREMENTS
