Schedule:
Part-Time | Monday through Friday during after-school hours (1:30 pm - 6:00 pm) . Additional hours may be available during school breaks, summer programming, or special events.
Location:
Panama City, FL Employer will conduct background check and drug screen Position Summary Boys & Girls Clubs of Bay County is seeking dependable, energetic, and caring individuals to join our team as Youth Development Professionals. This position is responsible for providing a safe, positive, and engaging environment for youth while supporting educational, recreational, and character-building programs during after-school hours. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Supervise youth in a safe and positive environment. Lead recreational, educational, and enrichment activities. Encourage positive behavior and serve as a positive role model. Assist members with homework and academic support as needed. Build positive relationships with youth, families, and coworkers. Maintain attendance records and other required documentation. Prepare activity areas and assist with daily program operations. Participate in staff meetings, training, and special events as assigned. Qualifications High school diploma or GED equivalent required. Experience working with children or youth is preferred. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively with children from diverse backgrounds. Ability to manage groups in a positive and respectful manner. Must successfully pass a Level II background screening. CPR/First Aid certification is a plus or willingness to obtain. Why Join Our Team?
