Job Title Aircraft Maintenance Trainer Who are we? With locations in 15 countries across Europe, North America and Asia, Daher designs and develops value-added solutions for its aeronautical and industrial customers and partners Daher's Pompano Beach, Florida site is a key U.S. Part 145 aircraft maintenance and service center, providing comprehensive maintenance, repair, inspection, and technical support for Daher's TBM and Kodiak turboprop aircraft. The facility supports both individual owners and commercial operators, performing hands‑on airframe, powerplant, propeller, and systems maintenance in accordance with FAA regulations and manufacturer data. The site also plays an important role in training and mentoring aviation maintenance professionals, reinforcing Daher's commitment to safety, technical excellence, and continuous improvement within its global aircraft support network. Join our team as an Aircraft Maintenance Trainer / Instructor and play a critical role in developing highly skilled aviation maintenance professionals. In this position, you will deliver high-quality technical training on Daher aircraft, equipping personnel with the knowledge, hands-on skills, and regulatory understanding required to safely maintain, troubleshoot, and repair aircraft in accordance with manufacturer and aviation authority standards.
Primary Role and Responsibilities:
Deliver initial, recurrent, differential, and specialized training through classroom, virtual, and hands-on instruction. Teach and explain aircraft systems, including maintenance manuals, wiring diagrams, schematics, and troubleshooting procedures. Provide instruction on proper use of tools, test equipment, and diagnostic software, including TBM aircraft systems. Develop, update, and enhance training materials, presentations, exams, and practical exercises in alignment with service bulletins, manual updates, and regulatory changes. Support standardized training programs aligned with OEM and regulatory requirements. Serve as a technical expert and mentor, assisting mechanics and leadership with complex troubleshooting both in training environments and the field. Ensure compliance with FAA regulations and company standards, while promoting a strong safety culture and awareness of human factors. Track trainee progress, certifications, and performance; provide feedback and support continuous improvement. Coordinate training schedules and contribute to training metrics and program effectiveness.
What you need to have:
Bachelor's degree or a minimum of 5 years of experience in aircraft maintenance or technical instruction. FAA A&P License (or equivalent certification).
Strong knowledge of:
Turboprop engines Avionics systems Aircraft structures Interpretation of technical documentation Strong communication and presentation skills. Advanced troubleshooting and technical problem-solving ability. Highly organized, detail-oriented, and safety-focused. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and technical/training systems. Ability to adapt instruction to different experience levels and learning styles.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working with Daher aircraft or similar turboprop platforms. Previous experience as an instructor or trainer. Background in MRO, OEM, or aviation training environments. Inspector Authorization (IA) certification. Familiarity with adult learning principles.
Information related to the position:
The compensation range is $80,000 to $90,000 in base salary plus an annual target bonus. The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Daher considers a number of factors when determining salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, skills, and current market conditions.
