Job Description

We are partnered with a manufacturing company in Sarasota, Florida hiring for a Training Specialist. The Training Specialist supports the Training Manager by delivering technical training, leading hands‑on exercises, and preparing materials, equipment, and content. Training is conducted in person, virtually, and occasionally at dealer or partner locations. This role requires strong communication skills, mechanical aptitude, and a willingness to grow into an independent facilitator.
Key Responsibilities:
Co‑facilitate installation training and lead hands‑on exercises Demonstrate tools, wiring, and mechanical components safely and accurately Provide real‑time coaching and troubleshooting during training activities Support on‑site dealer/partner training events, including setup and teardown Prepare products, tools, and materials for each session; maintain demo equipment Contribute to updates of training materials, job aids, and hands‑on guides Offer feedback to improve training quality and learner comprehension
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in education, communications, or technical field; or 5 years related experience 1-2 years customer‑facing experience; technical product experience preferred Technical certificate, associate degree, or equivalent experience in electromechanical systems 1-3 years installing or servicing mechanical/electro‑mechanical products Ability to read wiring diagrams, schematics, and service documentation Valid driver's license; occasional travel required

Strong mechanical aptitude and hands‑on ability Clear verbal communication and group facilitation skills Ability to explain technical concepts simply and practically Organized, safety‑focused, and detail‑oriented Willingness to learn instructional techniques

$50,000-$58,000/year
