JOB PURPOSE
The Certified Trainer is responsible for facilitating training on the production floor. Lead our employee development initiatives through hands-on, audio, and visual training. Assisting production when not managing new hires, cross-training, or re-training.
MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIRED
High School GED or equivalent.
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
1 year in Operations for specified department
ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS
(Preferred qualifications) STAR Mentor Training
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Manage and train new hires (maximum of 2) as well as current employees as needed. Complete of current re-training as requested by department. Choosing appropriate training methods per case (virtual, simulated, mentoring, on the job training, etc.) Complete cross training as requested by the department. Complete weekly training reports and assessments on trainees.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES
Proven ability to complete full training cycle (assess needs, plan, develop, coordinate, monitor and evaluate) MS Office proficiency Advanced organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple assignments Strong written and verbal communication skills Strong presentation skill Works well under pressure Ability to maintain confidentiality Ability to collaborate with all levels of an organization Ability to work independently Ability to work interdepartmentally
