Job Description
Hawaii Community Federal Credit Union (HCFCU) has multiple exciting opportunities in the Training Department for a Coordinator position and also an Officer position.
Coordinator Duties:
Assist Officer in developing and delivering training and development programs that anticipate Credit Union needs and prepare the staff for upcoming changes. Develop appropriate delivery vehicles and visual design media for training development programs that maximize trainee comprehension. Develop training schedules for management, staff and volunteers. Training could be of an in-house nature, hiring external experts, or the use of outside conferences or seminars. Maintain all in-house resources for training.Minimum Qualifications:
High school graduate / GED equivalent with three (3) years of previous training experience, including training presentations, and designing training guides preferred; Knowledge of computer systems and proficient on PC word processing programs and other software programs (Windows and Microsoft systems preferred). Knowledge of financial institutions preferred.Officer Duties:
Plans, develops, and administers developmental and training programs for all Credit Union employees. Conducts assessments to determine measures required to enhance job performance and overall Credit Union performance. Provides support to the Credit Union's management team toward developing their workforce in understanding the commitment of their job positions and how the play an important role in the overall success of the Credit Union. Responsible for assisting the Human Resource Manager in developing, maintaining, and updating personnel policies and procedures; and in development of an employee retention plan that incorporates organizationla development and training. Makes assessments of effectiveness of training programs in terms of employee accomplishments and performance, incorporates best practices and lessons learned into the training programs.Minimum Qualifications:
High school graduate / GED equivalent with 4 years related work experience / 4-year College degree with 2 years related work experience.
