Exempt Job Summary The Training & Success Specialist plays a critical role in supporting franchisees from their initial onboarding through ongoing operational success. This position will begin by focusing primarily on grand opening responsibilities by traveling to grand openings to train franchisees and their teams. Once fully trained and proficient in training responsibilities, the Training & Success Specialist will be cross trained to begin supporting franchisees through ongoing operational coaching, troubleshooting, and performance support. Upon completion of both training phases, this role will continue traveling to grand openings to lead training initiatives while providing support to active franchisees. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys training, relationship-building, problem-solving, and helping franchisees achieve long-term success. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Complete all required Training Specialist onboarding requirements. Travel to new franchise locations during grand openings to train front-line staff, coach managers, and ensure operational readiness. Evaluate trainee performance and provide coaching, feedback, and development recommendations. Obtain field feedback from franchisees to continuously improve grand opening training procedures. Complete Success Specialist onboarding requirements following mastery of training responsibilities. Serve as a primary support resource for franchisees by responding to operational questions through support channels in a timely and professional manner. Conduct virtual and in-person meetings with franchisees to provide coaching, troubleshoot operational challenges, and promote best practices. Collaborate with Training, Operations, and Success teams to identify franchisee needs and develop resources that improve system-wide performance. Travel up to 50% of the time to franchise locations nationwide for grand openings. Perform other duties as assigned by the primary supervisor. Knowledge Strong understanding of restaurant operations, food safety, guest service standards, and staff management. Knowledge of franchise business models and the importance of operational consistency. Knowledge of operational support systems, troubleshooting processes, and franchise performance metrics. Understanding of company brand standards and operational expectations. Skills Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills. Ability to effectively train, coach, and motivate franchisees and team members. Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities. Excellent organizational and time-management skills. Proficiency in Google Workspace, video conferencing platforms, and presentation software. Strong documentation and record-keeping skills. Abilities Ability to build strong relationships with franchisees through trust, professionalism, and service. Ability to assess operational challenges and develop practical solutions. Ability to adapt to changing priorities and thrive in a fast-paced growth environment. Ability to travel frequently, including overnight travel. Ability to provide constructive feedback and coaching in a positive and professional manner. Must be able to stand for prolonged periods (up to 8 hours) and perform physical tasks including lifting up to 50 pounds, bending, and repetitive motion. Minimum Qualifications 2+ years of experience in training, operations, support, management, or a related role within the restaurant or retail industry. Experience delivering hands-on training preferred. Experience supporting franchisees or working within a franchised business model preferred. Strong customer service and relationship-management skills. High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Business, Education or a related field preferred. Willingness and ability to travel up to 50% of the time, including overnight stays.
