As a TRUMPF Technical Instructor, you'll train customers and employees on world‑class machines—covering operation, programming, maintenance, and best practices—through standardized classes in Chicago and tailored on‑site trainings across North America and abroad. What you'll do Deliver engaging, hands‑on training across assigned TRUMPF product lines. Tailor curricula to customer needs; refine materials with the Head of Punch/PressBrake Training. Collaborate with HQ trainers and curriculum developers to keep content current and clear. Lead on‑site trainings and conduct field research at customer facilities and TRUMPF sites (up to 33% travel). Manage schedules, attendance, and training records; assess Service Engineer performance during training. Collect and analyze learner feedback to continuously improve course quality. Contribute to Continuous Improvement and SYNCHRO initiatives and special projects. What you bring Strong technical foundation with CNC sheet metal machine tools (TRUMPF experience preferred). Training and/or field service background strongly preferred. Excellent communication skills and confident classroom presence.
Solid PC skills:
OS, networking, Microsoft Office.
Education:
