Our organization values community engagement, customer service excellence, and fostering a supportive work environment for all employees. Help Build the Future of Training at First Secure Bank Group! We are seeking an experienced and engaging Training Specialist to lead employee training with an initial focus on our Jack Henry core banking system, retail banking operations, and new employee onboarding. We are looking for someone with a strong retail banking background, exceptional presentation skills, and a passion for helping others succeed. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who wants to grow their career while building the future of training across our organization. As our Training Specialist, you will have the opportunity to build and expand the Bank's training initiatives, develop employees, and become a trusted resource for learning and professional growth throughout the organization. Key Responsibilities Deliver engaging instructor-led training on the Bank's Jack Henry core system and retail banking processes. Develop training materials, job aids, reference guides, and learning resources that support employee success. Coordinate and maintain training schedules for new hires and existing employees. Assess training effectiveness and recommend improvements to learning programs. Partner with department leaders to identify training needs and develop practical learning solutions. Serve as the Bank's primary training resource and subject matter expert for the Jack Henry core system. Track employee training completion and maintain accurate training records. Assist with onboarding programs and support the continued development of employees across the organization. Stay current on enhancements to the Jack Henry system and incorporate updates into training materials. Contribute to the development and expansion of the Bank's overall training and employee development initiatives. Promote a culture of continuous learning by identifying opportunities to improve employee knowledge, performance, and professional growth. Why This Opportunity? This is more than a training position—it's an opportunity to build something meaningful. As a newly created role, you'll have the unique opportunity to help establish and shape the future of training and employee development at First Secure Bank Group. If you enjoy creating new ideas, influencing organizational growth, and helping others succeed, this role offers the chance to make a lasting impact! While your initial focus will be delivering high-quality training on our Jack Henry core system and retail banking operations, you'll also have the opportunity to help develop the Bank's overall training strategy. As the role evolves, you'll contribute to employee development initiatives, create new learning programs, enhance onboarding, and help foster a culture of continuous learning throughout the organization. If you're an experienced retail banker who enjoys teaching, presenting, and developing others—and you're looking for an opportunity to grow into a broader learning and development leadership role—we'd love to hear from you. Required Qualifications Minimum of 3 years of retail banking experience. Demonstrated experience coaching, mentoring, training, or onboarding employees. Outstanding presentation and facilitation skills with the confidence to engage groups of varying sizes and experience levels. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to quickly learn complex systems and explain them in a practical, engaging manner. Strong organizational and project management skills. Ability to travel between First Secure Bank Group locations as needed. Preferred Qualifications Experience with the Jack Henry core banking system. Experience developing training materials, job aids, or classroom presentations. Experience using a Learning Management System (LMS). Bachelor's degree in Business, Education, Human Resources, or a related field.
