An ideal candidate would have 5+ years in the Natural Gas industry. The Gas Technical Trainer reports to the Training Manager and Gas Operations Director. Mirra Co's 70 plus years of business has created strong, longstanding relationships with our client partners. Qualifications:
5+ years of direct Gas Construction experience Valid driver's license Ability to safely lead, motivate and inspire a team Be able to communicate effectively with crews, management, and clients Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other computer related tasks Excellent leadership abilities Time management skill Ability to collaborate with others and work independently Excellent communication skills OSHA 10 required, OSHA 30 preferred
Work Environment:
Work is performed in a 50% office and 50% field work at warehouse and construction sites Flexibility to work various schedules and stay late when necessary with little or no notice Must be able to read documents, use a computer, communicate verbally and in writing Mobility required within an office, warehouse and construction site environments Ability to occasionally lift up to 20 pounds
Responsibilities:
Works with training manager, field personnel and supervisors to analyze job tasks and current field performance to determine training needs and program content Deliver new hire OQ Training and Requalification of existing employees Evaluates performance during training and follows up on students learning, observations, and refresher training Monitor Employee's OQ statuses and schedule them for reevaluation Conduct Hands on training and Testing Adapt to changing Training and Testing protocols to stay ahead of industry expectations Provide technical solutions to improve or enhance performance Perform field audits to Identify training and needs Work Independently to drive the success of the organization Direct Involvement in identifying employees for uptraining and advancement Review Customer O&M and understand requirements Assist field operations as needed and adapt to changing needs of the organization Adhere to compliance needs and documentation
